We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Vascular Sonographer to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the vascular system, including arteries and veins, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various vascular conditions. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will use specialized ultrasound equipment to capture images of blood flow and identify abnormalities such as blockages, clots, or aneurysms. You will work closely with vascular surgeons, radiologists, and other medical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic information is provided. Your role is critical in helping to detect life-threatening conditions and guide appropriate treatment plans. A strong understanding of vascular anatomy and pathology is essential. Flexibility in scheduling, including occasional evening or weekend shifts, may be necessary depending on the facility’s needs. Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Certification by ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in vascular sonography preferred
  • Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology
  • Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Current CPR certification
